Underpass madness

Not much new to show over these last 2 weeks. I did do my first ever paid shoot though, which was good fun. I've mostly been videoing again, but haven't got the edits done yet so I'll just post some snap shots of those. I did have a little experiment with a few more underpasses and some friends:

The last one isn't really anything to do with what I'm working on, but hey I think it looks quite cool =)
These are a couple of other underpasses I've been filming:

Hopefully it will all make sense soon, I do have a coherent idea I'm working on, honest!
I've added a bit to my studio space too, again thanks to the colour darkroom machine being too cold and processing paper oddly:

I really like these and I've cut the all to 8" x 12" so hopefully at some point I can afford frames for them, so they'll be all pretty and stuff

Liverpool

So earlier this week I had a little jaunt to Liverpool with some friends, the main reason for this being to see the Nam June Paik exhibition in Tate Liverpool. It was a very interesting exhibition overall and I came away with quite a few ideas, although sadly no exhibition leaflet as they had run out, at least my ticket is a souvenir I suppose.
The first thing we did was to visit the beach where Anthony Gormley's Another Place sculptures are situated, so we explored a few of those and also played dress up, you know just to fully experience the art....

I actually think the most exciting part of Liverpool was how many abandoned buildings there are, I was quite tempted to stay forever. I'll definitely be going back at some point in the near future anyway, hopefully for longer so some serious exploring can be achieved.

Grunge

Not much went on this week, I did find a cool new underpass to photograph though. Here are some photos for your viewing pleasure...
